It is a heat stabilizer for polyolefines, polystyrene, thermoplastic glue and coatings, it protects lubricating and transformation oils, petrol, different typers of fuel from oxidation. It is nontoxic and allowed for use in aricles contacting with food stuffs and biological organisms. It is water-insoluble and soluble in oils, toluene, acetone, partly in ehtnaol, chlororganic solvents.
